Air conditioning for homes & Spaces
that aren’t supposed to have it.
Portable air conditioners are noisy, bulky and rarely provide the comfort homeowners are looking for. They’re a temporary workaround, not a long-term solution.
A visible outdoor unit can compromise the external aesthetic – whether that’s a period property,
a contemporary apartment or a thoughtfully designed interior.
Most air conditioning systems rely on an external unit. For many London properties, planning restrictions, lease agreements and building regulations can make that impossible.
[ The good news ]
Heating and cooling combined within a single discreet unit. Compact, energy efficient and smart-home compatible. They are an excellent solution for many apartments, contemporary homes and properties where a traditional system isn’t practical.

These specialist systems provide discreet year-round comfort – cooling rooms in summer and providing efficient heating when needed – without the need for a traditional outdoor condenser.

Every property is different – and so are its challenges. ChillHaus specialises in homes and buildings where traditional air conditioning isn't always straightforward, including:
Our relationship doesn’t end once the installation is complete. We remain on-hand to provide ongoing support, plus annual servicing and maintenance.
Our F-Gas certified installation team delivers the project with care, working to minimise disruption while ensuring the highest standards of workmanship, health and safety and compliance.
No two properties are the same. We design a bespoke solution around your building, balancing performance, discretion and the practical realities of the space.
Every project begins with a complimentary site visit. We take the time to understand your property, its restrictions and your requirements before recommending anything.
We provide clear advice, practical recommendations and carefully considered climate solutions that work with the property and the wider project, while respecting your design intent and your relationship with the client.
From a garden office or loft conversion to a listed building or large-scale refurbishment, we work as a trusted partner, helping deliver exceptional results without unnecessary complexity.
We regularly collaborate with architects, interior designers, builders, managing agents and property professionals, understanding that every project has different priorities, constraints and timescales.
Between us, we live in a conservation area, a long leasehold flat and a listed building. We have each wanted air conditioning, and been told repeatedly that it couldn’t be done.
We built ChillHaus because we believed it could.
With more than 20 years' experience across London's property market, including acquisitions, landlord and tenant representation, and advisory work, Casey brings a deep understanding of buildings and how they are used. He helps ensure every recommendation is appropriate for the property, its occupants, and its long-term value.
With years of hands-on experience in commercial and residential installations, Dilip oversees the technical delivery of ChillHaus systems. He ensures every installation is seamlessly integrated with the building’s existing services and executed with precision, care and attention to detail.

Operations & Delivery Director
With a background in property development, planning-led refurbishment, and scaling consumer businesses, Nathan founded ChillHaus to challenge the assumption that cooling solutions must compromise a building's design. His focus is on creating considered, discreet systems that work with the architecture of a home, rather than against it.
Managing Director
We’re here to guide and support you every step of the way. We believe in clear communication, thoughtful planning and long-term relationships, not simply completing installations.
We carry full public liability and professional indemnity insurance and operate to the highest professional standards.
All installations are carried out by qualified F-Gas registered professionals, in compliance with current industry regulations.
Every project begins with a complimentary site survey. We recommend a solution only after we have properly assessed the property.
Yes. ChillHaus provides high-performance air conditioning designed to deliver effective cooling and, where appropriate, year-round comfort including heating. The difference is that we specialise in properties where traditional systems aren't practical, permitted or desirable.
Our fully internal systems require no outdoor condenser. Some solutions may involve a small external component, positioned discreetly – but the approach always depends on the property. We'll be clear about what each option involves before recommending anything.
Yes. We specialise in properties where traditional air conditioning is challenging, including listed buildings at all grades. Every project starts with a survey to understand the specific constraints and identify the most appropriate route.
Conservation areas often restrict external alterations, which rules out conventional systems. We work within those restrictions to find solutions that are both effective and sympathetic to the building.
Indoor units are selected and positioned to minimise their visual impact, and we'll discuss all options during the survey.
Many of the systems we specify can provide both heating and cooling. We'll recommend the most appropriate option based on your property and how you plan to use the space.
It depends on the property and the system chosen. Many installations are completed within two to four days. We'll provide a clear programme of works following your survey.
We're supplier-agnostic, which means we're free to recommend the solution that genuinely suits the property, rather than trying to fit a standard system into every home.
Yes. We regularly work alongside architects, interior designers and project teams, ensuring our solutions integrate with the wider vision for the property.
The survey is complimentary and carries no obligation. We visit your property, assess the constraints, discuss your requirements and advise on what's possible.
Yes. We work with a range of commercial spaces including offices, hospitality venues, members' clubs and boutique studios where discreet, effective climate control matters.
Our relationship doesn't end when the installation is finished. We'll make sure you're completely happy with your new system, and remain on hand to answer any questions or provide ongoing support. We also offer annual servicing and maintenance to help keep your system performing at its best, giving you complete peace of mind long after the project is complete.
Not at all. While we specialise in properties where traditional air conditioning is difficult, we also work with owners who simply want a more discreet and considered approach – whether that's a modern apartment, a family home or a commercial space.
Meet ChillHaus: Cool by Design
Why We’re Here
Most air conditioning brochures are written for engineers. This isn’t one of them. We started ChillHaus because we kept hearing the same conversation, in one form or another: “I’d love air conditioning, but I don’t want that box on the wall outside.” Sometimes it was a conservation […]
Why UK Homes Are Struggling to Stay Cool — And What That Means for Yours.
For many years, cooling a home in the UK felt like a nice-to-have rather than a serious design consideration. British properties were built around a different problem: keeping warmth in through long, damp winters. That challenge hasn’t disappeared — efficient […]
